One method for evaluating the Best employment opportunity for you is a
Values Match.
Work values are things you would need in a job for it to be satisfying
to you. These are aspects of the job that motivate you to get up and go
to work everyday. Make a list of your top 4-6 work values-the qualities
a job would need to have in order for you to consider it. Keep these
things in mind while looking for a new career opportunity or even apply
your list to current position to see if it is a good match.
Surprisingly, you may find a fit where you never thought possible/least
expect it.
Sample Work Values include: Social Responsibility, Work alone /
Independence, Diversity, Competition, Work under pressure,
Entrepreneurial,
Prestige, Variety, Creativity, High Income, Responsibility, Precision
Work, Stability, Adventure, Flexibility, etc.
